I've practiced at Lindabury since 1985 and have been a shareholder since 1993. I concentrate my practice in business and financial transactions, commercial and industrial real estate, and health care law. I represent clients in the purchase and sale of businesses and business assets, the formation of business entities, and the debt and equity financing of businesses. I serve as point of contact for many of the firm's business clients.In my financial transactions practice, I represent banks, insurance companies, and business clients in secured credit transactions, including residential and commercial construction, mortgage financing, commercial credit facilities, maritime lending, and tax-exempt financing.My commercial real estate practice includes the purchase, sale, leasing, subleasing, and financing of industrial, office, and retail properties.In my health care practice, I represent many types of healthcare providers, including physician groups and individual physicians, acute care and special hospitals, nonprofit healthcare agencies, and assisted living providers in connection with mergers, consolidations, and acquisitions; group formation and dissolution; provider service agreements; managed care contracting; Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement; certificate of need and licensure matters; fraud and abuse and "Stark" issues; and the debt and equity financing of healthcare facilities. I have represented seven hospitals in their tax-exempt bond financings. I have also represented hospitals in some of the largest asset purchase and consolidation transactions to have occurred in New Jersey, as well as the privatization of a county-owned long term care facility. In 2009, I represented a hospital system in a $755 Million mortgage loan to finance the construction of a new state-of-the-art hospital. This was the largest single transaction in the history of the Federal Housing Administration and the largest hospital financing ever in New Jersey.
