Telfer

I worked in the Telfer underground contracting team with Byrnecut Australia as a project engineer and undertook several responsibilities.My favorite duty was Forecasting costs and manpower for all of Byrnecut's mining, administration and management activities at Telfer. This involved understanding the clients long term mining plan, communicating with our departments and looking at historical data to determine what resources and manpower were required to deliver. Then we needed to estimate costs and submit these to the client and our internal team. I was also required to report on and justify each months cost to the client and answer any queries from their team. I also conducted roles such as Compliance and margin calculation.
