Launched six new automotive programs, and handled automotive component tools for metal, plastic injection molding, and PUR foam cast aluminum tools for BMW, Mercedes, Nissan, Ford, and Volkswagen. Managed 154 metal, plastics, and foam tools among nine different tool shops across five different countries for the program launches. Collaborated with up to 53 suppliers to implement APQP and PPAP requirements for new automotive programs. Analyze strip layouts, forming, thinning, and thermal analysis for stamping and transfer tools, FPOT, and buy-offs. Handle DFM, mold flows, shrinkage, and GD&T for plastic injection tools. Work with suppliers using DMAIC, Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), and Define, Measure, Explore, Develop, and Implement (DMEDI) techniques to resolve issues. Managed key performance indicators (KPIs), cash flows, balance sheets, and personnel on several projects.♦ Provided cost savings recommendations regarding stamping coil, plastic injection resins, and colorant.♦ Provided cost analysis for purchase of robotic capital equipment usage and future cost savings on new programs.

Designed a scalable tabletop vision system that could be upgraded to an in-line process for automated electronic production; wrote 80% of the code ("C" code) and designed 100% of the new hardware. Designed automotive handheld testers, engine testers, and instrument panel test systems to help during the automotive downturn.♦ Implemented new hardware changes into the high-end vision systems to reduce production cost and time.♦ Sold more than $2M of AOI systems using the Jidoka philosophy to detect production issues immediately and provide feedback upstream to correct the issue.♦ Created a fault identification and tracking system (FIT) for an automated repair loop electronic system in a SMD production line.

Handled all operations for the new Vision System Product Line while two other partners handled marketing and sales along with their other product lines. Sales reached were $2M in 18 months and $4M in the 3rd year. • Sold Motorola, Solectron, Texas Instruments, Nortel, Qualcomm and SCI using Automated Optical Inspection Vision Systems and the Jidoka philosophy to implement the Measure, Analysis, and feedback Control phases of the DMAIC continuous improvement strategy, which saved millions in electronic production processes.• Implemented six Visions Systems and other related software-based products for Fault Identification and Tracking (FIT), Repair Stations, Automated Repair Loops, Root Cause Analysis System (RCAS), and Shift Production Management System and Reporting; wrote 70% of the code and designed all hardware.
