Robert was recruited to The Cliffs from Ginn Development Company as part of a nationwide search for an elite sales team of professionals with successful experience representing high-end luxury properties. Not long into his career at The Cliffs the Regional Marketing Manager chose Robert to take part in "Think Tank" meetings in which top-level professionals brainstormed ways to enhance company performance. Executives decided to integrate Robert's ideas into the overall marketing plan for all of The Cliffs Communities. Robert was also asked to share his personal method for making sales with the entire sales and marketing team at a kickoff event. His success has always stemmed from a naturally outgoing personality and his enjoyment of getting to know clients and his commitment to represent what is in his clients' best interest. Robert particularly enjoys working as part of a team at The Cliffs and helping maintain morale and positivity within the group. Whether working with clients or team members he brings an enthusiastic and committed approach that has garnered him sales and a reputation his clients and employer can trust.

While at Ginn Robert sold and marketed high-end real estate at private amenitized communities earning the designation of Director of Sales’ Player of the Year by closing over $5.3 million in company sales in a year and doubling his sales each year. He cultivated new business by using prospect databases, social networks, customer referrals, national broker affiliations, industry trade shows, and group/corporate presentations. Overall Robert's most valuable contribution to this position was his ability to develop strong relationships with clients and potential clients, gaining referrals as well as repeat business.

Lafarge recruited Robert based on his previous sales performance at Giant Cement. In just two years at Lafarge Robert grew market share in his territory from 50 to 75 percent.Robert analyzed the market as well as the needs of clients and potential clients and through his relationships was able to close long-term contracts for building aggregate orders. He also helped clients come up with solutions to streamline their aggregate use efficiency and profitability, earning repeat business and referrals through his reputation for outstanding customer service. As part of the Lafarge corporation Robert underwent extensive training in global management and leadership.
