I am the Procurement Manager for Jake Marshall LLCA, Limbach Company.As the Procurement manager and purchasing manager, I am a leader who drives reductions in total supplier costs and I strategically manage supplier relationships to improve the organization’s profitability and competitive position.KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:● Develops, implements, and leads purchasing processes and procedures to improve direct and indirect costs for a designated branch location and its projects. ● Plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to the procurement function, including purchasing, inventorying, storing, cataloging, processing/receiving invoices and distribution of services, stock, and non-stock commodities. ● Works closely with the shop staff to fulfill demand requirements for tools for all construction projects.● Develops systems to evaluate vendor quotations that utilize appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service.● Designs, implements, manages, and monitors procurement reporting to meet company requirements.● Recruits and maintains suppliers who prioritize strong ethics and offer quality products and services. ● Prepares and issues purchase orders and change notices. ● Oversees all activities related to commodity procurement from intent to purchase through delivery.● Reviews specifications with vendors to secure full descriptions of items to be used as the basis of bids.● Corresponds with vendors to ensure purchase requirements, delivery, and quality specifications are met.PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:● 30 + Years of Management experience.● 30+ years of Senior Purchasing/Procurement Manager relevant experience.● 10 Years experience of Coatings/Paint Shop Manager.● 10 Years experience of Hazardous Waste Manager.● 25 Years of experience of Shipping and Receiving Manager.● 25 Years experience of Account Receivables Manager processing invoices for payment.● Strong decision making, problem solving, and time management skills. ● Solid working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Power Point, Google Applications, Including Google Meet, Viewpoint/Vista, Maxwell and/or similar products.● Demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships and communicate with diverse audiences.● Familiarity with the requirements of drawings, specifications, and terms/conditions of project contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders. ● LEAD Level 1 training.● RCRA Certification.
