In my role as Director of our tensile fabric structure business, I take great pleasure in seeing a project through from conception to completion to create structures that would be almost impossible with traditional building methods. From architectural pieces such as ‘Sails of the South’ in Portsmouth, and the ‘Web of Light’ in Liverpool (designed by the Bird’s Nest Stadium architect Al Weiwei) to striking canopies for a range of buildings in the sports, leisure, retail and education sectors. We have a pretty good range of event marquees too! Although born into the industry – my father was previously with his father in the family marquee rental business for over 30 years – I have an honours degree in Computer Science and experience of working in IT, a background that has greatly assisted in the engineering and project management aspect of our service.
