Hello! I am a musician and educator from Southern California. I feel honored to do what I do. Music education helped shaped the person I am today, and my goal is to provide a place to grow to every student who enters my classroom. Music is it's own reward. Making music unlocks deeper parts of ourselves and helps us process the world around us. It can connect us to our culture, community, or humanity. Music in school not only fosters emotional growth and maturity, it teaches skills that can be applied all facets of a students life. Cooperation, communication, reflection, resilience, and patience are all fundamental parts of learning music. I believe these traits coupled with a lifelong appreciation for art creates more successful adults. I believe all students should have access to these opportunities.
