 Provides support to the test department in Hornell to test the Next Generation High Speed Trainset (NGHST)  Troubleshoots multiple systems on the NGHST such as traction, high voltage systems, networking, etc.  Reviews and performs FMIs and maintenance work instructions for implementation for the future fleet  Conducts maintenance studies to improve design for serviceability  Acts as a Qualified Maintenance Person (QMP) for inspecting and conducting periodic maintenance on the prototype trainsets  Acts as a key user to diagnose and address train control issues that drive software upgrades and revisions Leads a team of on-site engineers to troubleshoot, maintain, and support the new Acela fleet  Trains new and experienced hires in troubleshooting methods to prepare for the new Acela fleet's service

 Supervises and conducts testing on new work trains and equipment • Conducted testing and commissioning for all the systems present on the R251 Vacuum Train overseas in Tours, France with Socofer/NEU (testing included lighting, air brakes, high and low voltage systems) • Conducted testing and commissioning for R252 Flat Cars in Columbia, SC with Harsco Rail  Provides engineering field support to the Work Car fleet for MTA – NYCT including troubleshooting of various systems such as propulsion, air brakes, HVAC, etc.  Tests and commissions Field Modification Instructions (FMIs) on existing equipment such as the R156 locomotive provided by MPI-Wabtec • Tested FMIs including installation of CCTV, upgrading fuel vent systems, and Automatic Engine Start/Stop  Develops and reviews Technical Specifications for projects such as the R34255 Battery/Diesel Hybrid Locomotive and the R34258 Tamper Car  Participates in Design Reviews and in the negotiations for the procurement of new work cars  Evaluates and provides feedback on contract submittals such as project schedules, FEA simulations, FMIs, and other documentation

Manages over one hundred teaching assistants for a freshman level engineering course. Plans a week long training session, assigns teaching assistants to weekly jobs in labs, recitations, or lectures. Attends weekly administrative meetings with professors to discuss any current student situations as well as future plans and goals for the course.

Led and instructed students in a weekly lab to introduce the fundamentals of various fields of engineering. Labs utilized different equipment and software such as LabVIEW and an NI-ELVIS board to achieve these goals.
