Philadelphia Police Boat Teams compete in outrigger canoe and dragon boat racing. Team is made up of law enforcement and fire personnel (male and female), from the Philadelphia area. I am a team member. I was coach/ captain of the team from 2002-2007. Coached/captained of U.S. Protective Services Team that competed in the International Protective Services Championship, in Tainjin China. Coached of the Philadelphia Police Outrigger Canoe Team, that competed in the U.S. National Championships, in Catalina Island, California. I was president of the team from 2007-2009. I was vice president and board member 2009-2014. Gold medalist (Mixed 20 person 35+), Bronze medalist (mixed 10 person), and bronze medalist (mens 10 person), World Police Fire Games (2015).World Police Fire Games 2017 Dragonboat - bronze medal men 10 person, bronze medal mixed 20 person, and bronze medal mixed 10 person. 2022 World Police & Fire Games 10 person male boat silver medal, 20 person mixed boat gold medal.

Part of 2 WestPac deployments, one of which included being part of response to the USS Stark after being hit by Iraqi missiles (Iran - Iraq War, May 1987). Enlistment was for 3 years active duty and 3 years inactive reserves.
