The NACFB is the UK industry body for commercial finance brokers ensuring best practice amongst its members and promoting commercial finance and commercial finance brokers to the general market.The main board directors operate on a purely voluntary basis and I am now into my second term as a director.

I started with Brightstar at the end of 2012 to bring some additional commercial finance knowledge to the (then) Bridging & Commercial desk. I actively wrote bridging, commercial, development and larger residential investment loans as the business grew through 2013. The growth in the company was such that by the start of 2014 I was made head of the new stand-alone Commercial Division and by mid-2014 was made a director of Brightstar. The Commercial Division continued to grow in both volumes and staff numbers and to also expand into other areas such as specialist buy-to-let, non-property business lending and into the HNW sector in London via the new Sirius brand. By late 2016 there were a total of 15 staff members across these areas and I as part of a restructure my involvement went from part-time to full-time in managing the Sirius office in London.

Moorgate Commercial Finance Limited was my company that offered a commercial finance advisory covering areas such as commercial finance, property development and larger residential investment transactions

I worked as a Lending Manager for MFS in their Sydney office offering commercial and property development loans across the easter states of Australia.

I worked for Bridgecorp in Auckland as a Lending Manager providing commercial, development and mezzanine lending across New Zealand. In late 2001 I moved to Sydney to set-up Bridgecorp Australia to tap into the larger Australian market.
