I educate customers about Granite, Quartz, Quartzite and Marble stone countertops, and direct them to selections based on the beauty of the stone, how their lifestyle may impact their choices, which colors will work with their other design elements, and of course, their budget. We discuss cabinet colors and sink selections; edge profiles and backsplash options: the advantages & disadvantages of various countertop surfaces, and where to find those special, esoteric options.

The first point of contact for new retail customers of this cabinet company. My role was to educate prospective clients in the multiplicity of options that could be selected for their Kitchen and Bathroom Cabinets, and to help them navigate those endless possibilities, while keeping the process from being overwhelming. Using a CWP program, a kitchen sketch, and a discussion of hopes and needs, I was able to pre-approve customers, providing them with an understanding of how their decisions would affect the beauty, functionality, and cost of their project.

Starting out as a cabinetmaker, when I moved to Naples I opened my own cabinet installation service business, which grew into a Kitchen and Bath Design firm. I worked with contractors, interior designers, and their clients, to design their projects, providing CAD drawings and renderings to aid in the visualization of the completed project. Once approved, I ordered every item in every cabinet, which I assembled and installed, right down to the Birch dovetail drawer boxes with Blum Tandem Slides.
