I am from Katy, Texas, and I am a Civil Engineering student at Texas A&M University. I was a member of the Freshman Serving Humanities of Texas Organization (FRESH TX), which allowed me to put my passion for service into practice in my community. The organization has not only aided me in being a successful leader in school but also in my personal life. I was also a member of FACE (Freshman Aspiring to Be Civil Engineers), which allowed me to get connected with the Civil Engineering Department early on.Ward, Getz & Associates, PLLC (WGA Consulting Engineers) has hired me as a Project Intern. Where I work with a diverse team of engineers, designers, problem solvers, and creative thinkers. AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bluebeam are two significant Civil Engineering technologies that I have learned how to use. With the support of my team, I've also learned how to deliver innovative engineering solutions.At a young age, I decided that I wanted to be an engineer. As I've gotten older, I've become more aware of the ever-changing Civil Engineering industry. I decided to make it my life's work to assist in the planning and modeling of infrastructure in my community. Through my dedication and hard work in this sector, I hope to have a positive impact on the world around me.
