My time working at Services MRO was one of the most valuable experiences I've had in terms of learning what it's like to be part of the workforce. I had not had a real job to this degree and it really showed me the value of hard-work and dependability. I was the youngest employee at this company and I felt like I had something to prove. I was 15 minutes early every morning and was willing to do whatever it took to work my way up the ladder. Within 2 months, I received a raise and was given more responsibility. My work-ethic paid off and was rewarded.I learned customer service skills by speaking with clients and listening to their concerns and demands. I learned how to work in a team since we would work on houses in groups of 2-5 people and have to communicate and check on each other's work to ensure that everything was done properly. This job was a critical learning experience for me that prepared me for the future.
