Leading the Quality Team at the Terex Campsie factory. Supporting design, suppliers, the production team and aftersales teams to deliver the customer quality assured material processing equipment and customer satisfaction.Managing the quality of the products produced in factory as we continue increasing output through increased volumes of current product lines, transfer of existing product lines from our sister sites and the development of new products within the brands. Currently on site we manufacture:- Wheeled and tracked trommel screeners- Slow and medium speed shredders- High speed grinders- Metal seperators- Tracked conveyor systems- Large horizontal and incline screeners

Currently I work as a Quality Engineer in the Campsie factory manufacturing Ecotec environmental equipment and large tracked conveyor . My responsibilities include:- Support production with quality issues found during manufacture of machines.- Conduct investigations and root cause analysis of quality issues found on components during manufacture.- Write reports on issues found and oversee a 5 step process to solve the issue, implement a corrective action, investigate root cause and validate the fix to close the report.- Liaise with suppliers on a daily basis to get quick resolution to issues seen to reduce the delay in manufacture of machines and ensure that sign-out targets are met.- Conduct inspections of completed machines to ensure that they are free of faults after manufacture and prior to sign out.- Create production and quality check sheets tailored to individual machine needs.- Create quality alerts to make production team memebers aware and implement fixes for critical issues reported through dealer warranty and quality end of line inspections.- Participate in project reviews with cross department teams, providing my experience to represent quality to set targets and give feedback of issues seen when building 1st prototype machines.- Participate in cross functional team meetings to improve production amd quality in factory.

Worked as a Senior Field Test and Development Engineer testing and developing prototype and production agricultural machines/vehicles in field. This included identifying failures and assisting in root cause analysis and concerns found within the test fleet. Daily I liaised with field test and engineering colleagues in global locations. My responsibilities in addition to this role included:- Field Test lead engineer for tractors (96-165kW).- Field Test department budget, activity and workload planning.- Create standard and non-standard test procedures (defining a pass/fail criteria) and writing test reports, detailing results and recommendations. - Participate in design reviews with engineering, marketing brands and product platform, providing my experience to represent customer requirements. This includes identifying issues within the concept phase of a program so that changes can be made before physical builds begin.- Conduct lessons learnt and quality reviews regarding current product and ensure that quality and planning issues are not carried over onto new product.- Ensure the offsite field test facility is HSE and fire safety compliant through maintenance of equipment and site procedures. This includes writing risk assessments, COSHH and SOPs.- Conduct in field training of new products for tractor Marketing and Quality departments.- Assist quality and technical aftersales departments with customer product issues. - Participate in HARA assessment meetings regarding product issues.

Agricultural Product Validation Field Test and Development Engineer. My responsibilities included:- Field Test lead engineer for tractors (73-86kW) and telehandlers, testing from concept through to production.- Run and manage test vehicles in field with customers; effectively diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults with prototype vehicles. Working with design engineers to implement new designs to improve functionality and reliability of vehicles.- Compile reports on control, driveability, ergonomic and aesthetic feedback from customers.- Create vehicle test plans to meet project targets.- Conduct in field tests including; durability, reliability, functionality, benchmarking and performance.- Write test reports detailing results and recommendations.- Write Product Integrity Reports (PIR’s) on issues found and oversee a 7 step process to solve the issue, implementing and validating a fix to close the report.- Specify builds for vehicles to maximise the effectiveness of the field test activity.- Source new field testing locations and contacts within the UK to improve testing coverage.- Validation of operators manual to ensure they are free of inaccuracies and grammatical errors. - Software validation: ensuring that software is free of serious and minor malfunction and ensuring that software behaviour is what is required and expected by the customer.- Support Basildon factory with manufacturing prototype and production tractors, carrying out PDIs on prototype and production vehicles and supporting manufacturing quality audits.- Liaise with suppliers to conduct testing, development and tuning of components and subsystems.

• Travelled to New Zealand for a working holiday. Worked on a large silage contracting and haulage company.• Operated a range of agricultural equipment and machinery.• Main duties included: mowing and raking silage, forage harvesting, buckraking silage, muck spreading, cultivating and ground preparation for crops.• Other duties included: repairing lorries and haulage equipment, repairing agricultural machinery and equipment, manufacturing of direct chop forage harvester headers.

• Worked on a large 6000acre arable farm harvesting grain crops.• Operated a range of agricultural equipment and machinery.• Main duties included: managing grain stores, hauling grain crops, cultivation of land for seeding, hedge cutting and verge mowing, excavator driving.• Other duties included: maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.

• The family farm consisted of 3 main areas; agricultural and construction contracting, dairy and arable. • Rearing and a milking a 130 cow herd, growing and harvesting cereals, root crops and whole crop silage, and driving and repairing tractors, telehandlers and diggers. • Agricultural work carried out with local farmers cutting silage, drainage works, cultivating lands and spreading manure. • Construction work carried out with local builders, building contractors and Strabane & District Council.

• Field Test Engineer Intern testing and developing small & medium tractors.

• Worked on a highly productive 110 cow dairy farm as an assistant herdsman. • Duties included milking, health monitoring, animal husbandry and milk recording.
