As a UAS Technician I am responsible for tasks associated with the production and sustainment of complex UAS electro-mechanical systems and subsystem technologies. I work closely with engineers and field operators to ensure maximum system function and reliability while providing effective technical support for all facets of the Technical Operations process. 107 UAS CertifiedProven experience as an Engineering Technician or similar technical role.Build, initialize, and test subassemblies for aircraft and autonomy equipment prior to install.Experience with electronics lab test equipment.Soldering, multimeters, hand tools.Active engagement in the diagnostics and troubleshooting of complex mechanical and electrical systems.Coordination with UAS Pilots to provide in-field technical support and remote diagnostics.Maintain documentation to include:System integration operations.Vehicle modifications.Inventory control and configuration management processes.Field repair troubleshooting guides.Accurately communicate the status and functionality of equipment via reports and work order updates.Work alongside engineers to design, build, and test solutions to a variety of unique technical problems.Deep practical knowledge and critical thinking capability.Excellent analytical skills; high attention to detail.Teaching Background: I am an Experienced Lead Instructor with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry. Currently, my team and I have built a Nationally Awarded Engineering program at Huron High School in Ann Arbor Michigan. We strive to push students to prepare for post secondary education related to any Engineering field. I love to tinker and constantly drive myself to learn new things. I thrive in a problem solving environment and adore the feeling of working through challenges. I am skilled in the Engineering field, Google Management Programs, Customer Service, Information Technology, and specialize in Computer Aided Design. I have strong program and project management experience with a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) focused in Technology and Design in Secondary Education from Eastern Michigan University. I am a Husband and Father of two beautiful girls. Before college I played semi professional hockey and still play casually on the weekends.
