CurrentServes as a liaison with information technology staff and provides technical assistance and instruction concerning the Budget Suite program issues that arise with Oracle and the LEAP financial systemAnalyzes budget proposals and conducts financial analysis on programsCommunicates with other budget analysts and business managers concerning changes or revisions that will have a financial impact on departments to ensure consistent implementationRecommends changes or revisions to ensure annual budget comparisons as unit activities evolve and are redistributed to departmentsAssists departments in budget preparation and provides instructions concerning budget preparation, budget adjustments, cost analysis and fiscal allocationReviews budget reports and prepares operating and capital budget summaries and submits recommendations for the approval or disapproval of funds requestsIdentifies budget issues and budget trends and interprets budget procedures
