I copy-edited, for style and content, articles and headlines that are prepared by staff reporters and cleared by the senior news editor; copy-edit columns produced by freelance contributors; copy-edit and proofread marketing materials; search for and obtain photos and graphics to accompany articles; occasionally shoot photos for use in the magazine; help develop cover art and headlines; work with the staff graphic artist to ensure that all content is properly placed in the magazines, including editing to fit specific spaces; help develop style and voice for the website and magazines.

On Europe hours determined the layout of the main section of the front page, including articles and article groups, headlines and graphics.
