For 40 years I have been a reporter and editor focused on business news, working for internationally prominent digital and print news agencies including, among others, Bloomberg and Dow Jones. In Israel I ran my own marketing-communications consultancy. Online and for print, I have written and edited everything from breaking news and long-form feature stories to business plans to websites to marketing collaterals to news releases. I have edited for publications focused both on the (highly regulated) public stock markets and on private equity. I have managed a team of editors on a copy desk, and I was one of a team of four news editors, each of us responsible for the output of a group of reporters. I laid out the front page for MarketWatch.com, a major US business-news website. As a reporter I developed features about innovative startup companies and explained them in language understandable to three key audiences: investors, professionals in related fields, and average readers. As an independent marketing writer, I worked directly with clients to understand their needs, strategize about message and audience, and create their materials accordingly. I have edited according to several style guides and helped develop one of them. My English-language and editing skills are bulletproof.
