I am a Marine Corps veteran, having served honorably from 1995 to 2006. While in the Marines, I learned GIS, surveying, and remote sensing. From 2003 to 2006, I served as a master instructor at the National Geospatial-Intelligence School, where I taught GIS, surveying, and remote sensing. After I left the service in 2006, I served at NGA where I was a instructor of the spectral sciences. In the years since then, I have a wide range of jobs: managing an Airbus satellite imagery download station, GIS project manager, and now I am an instructor again at Northern Industrial Training (NIT). At NIT, I instruct students who are learning skills to be heavy equipment operators. In addition to the equipment training, I also instruct OSHA-type classes, such as HAZWOPER, Fall Protection, and Lock Out/Tag Out.I hold several degrees, including a Master of Science in GIS and Technology from the University of Southern California. I also possess a Class A CDL with numerous endorsements. Recently, I completed training as a Safety Trained Supervisor (STS), which is a step toward being a certified Industrial Hygienist.This summer, I will be completing the PMP and this fall I will resume work on an MBA.
