• As a criminal justice professor the primary duties of my job are to relate proper, program related, information to the students in a manner that the student can understand. I ensure that students are adequately tested over materials, complete projects that enable them to further their knowledge in the realm of criminal justice. I complete yearly training, staff development, and uphold current certifications to keep current with changes in the criminal justice system. • As a fire science professor the primary duties of my job are to relate proper, program related, information to the students in a manner that the student can understand. I complete yearly training, staff development, and uphold current certifications to keep current with changes in the fire sciences. • As a Move on When Ready professor, I instruct students at Tift County High School in Criminal Justice. These are students that have tested higher than average and are deemed ready to move on to college level classes. I provide for them the same class materials and projects as ordinary college students. The only difference is these students are also completing college level classes and credit hours while also attending high school.

• Worked as a patrol officer where I assisted citizens with various problems, prepared reports, assisted in investigations, maintained professionalism, testified in court on cases, as well as many other duties.• Currently a member of the VIPER Team which deals with the problem areas in the city. I help to clean up high crime and drug traffic areas, prepare warrant requests, prepare professional case files, and help with community programs such as Neighborhood Watch, made successful arrests as well as placed charges on offenders.• I am also currently a sworn field agent for the Drug Enforcement Agency out of Columbus Georgia. I assisted in taking down a multi-million dollar drug case, and am assisting in prosecuting the pending cases.• As a VIPER member and as a public safety officer I implemented several programs to get adults and children a involved in becoming more aware of their surroundings and was able to teach classes that helped educate adults in helping themselves out of bad situations and how to improve themselves.
