The role incorporates the CFO role with responsibility for Commercial and ITC. Landcom is the NSW Governments Property Development arm.

The Meriton Group is a privately owned Property Group predominantly based in Sydney, NSW with a small interest in Brisbane and the Gold Coast in Queensland. It is a fully integrated property business which develops and builds both residential and serviced apartments. The residential apartments are either sold or held for rental. The business value is in the order of $11.5b.With the CEO I was one of only two people who sat over all the operating divisions. These divisions are Development, Construction, Serviced Apartments and Rental Apartments. The business also ran its own real estate business, vendor financing and building and strata management operations. As the CFO I was responsible for the following areas:-• Management reporting for the Group (weekly) • Financial Reporting for the Group • Taxation of the Meriton Group • Vendor Financing Operations ($300m) • Treasury (managed operations with the Banks)• Management of the Company Secretarial function for the multiple entities in the group• Liason with the “family business”• Daily operational issues including W,H & S, warranties, land purchases, etc.• Review of projects• Upgrading of Corporate GovernanceThe Meriton Group has a net asset value in excess of $11.5b.

Responsible for the following:-- MD role for the property development business, focussing on Residential (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and the ACT)and Commercial markets (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth) - Rezoning and sale of key residential sites in the Victoria and the ACT- Delivery of the 177 Pacific Highway, North Sydney Commercial building (40,000 sqm) - Delivery of the 567 Collins Street, Melbourne Commercial building (55,000 sqm)- Delivery of 4 major commercial projects in Perth (WA) in the Kings Square precinct (65,000 sqm)- CFO role is ongoing
