As the president of a small accounting business, I have filed all required forms with all government agencies to incorporate as an S Corp in the state of Florida. I have developed a client base, provided small business consulting, accounting and bookkeeping services as well as tax preparation and financial planning.Ridgewood Baptist Church Administrator / Business Manager 2006 - 2009As the church administrator, I acted as a de facto business manager for the church and preschool. I oversaw all financial and legal requirements involved in the day to day operation of the church and preschool as well as a six million dollar construction project. I supervised two admin assistants, negotiated lease arraignments, reconciled bank statements, managed billing for the preschool, and prepared financial statements, worked with two different financial institutions for construction loans, prepared the annual budget and presented budgets and financial statements to various internal and external partners. I processed payroll bi-weekly for the preschool and semi-monthly for the church staff, this included preparing the quarterly 941 as well as W-2's and the annual W-3.

I was responsible for all administrative functions at a mutli-staff church. Some of these repsonsibilites included: supervising non-ministerial staff, all accounting functions, preparing budgets, preparing financial statements, reviewing all legal documents for a $6m building program, prepared all tax reports, reconciled bank statements.

As a Senior Accountant for a Fortune 100 company, I supervised all general ledger accounting including fiscal period close, assisted with internal and external audits, conducted independent review of all account reconciliations, prepared the annual budget, processed month end close, provided financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, reconciled disbursement and balance sheet accounts, developed new processes in order to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley, and supervised five accounting professionals. As a result of processes I developed the company realized $1.8 Million additional revenue while "escheating" checks.

I supervised a semi-monthly payroll for 175 staff, processed all quarterly tax forms, Interpreted IRS code, Revised Code of Washington, Washington Administrative Code, and multiple collective bargaining agreements, conducted new employee orientation and supervised and trained a staff of four. While in this position, I simplified the payroll process and eliminating the previous requirement for overtime each pay cycle. During this period I was transferred to Retsil Veterans Home where I supervised Accounts Payable as well as Payroll.
