Experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety professional in the oil and gas industry. Served as an educator, coach, and mentor to safety and environmental professionals that worked for me. Past part time adjunct instructor at Odessa College, teaching safety courses, and adjunct part time professor at the University of Texas extension, Odessa, TX (UTPB) teaching Environmental Law .Served 2 years in the 1st Battalion 279th Infantry, 45th Infantry Division, and 6 years in the 45th Infantry Brigade (Separate), Oklahoma National Guard, and provided leadership as an NCO. Served 4.5 years in the Texas State Guard as a commissioned officer at the rank of Captain. Became a detachment commander before leaving the organization in 2006.Initially retired from Amoco Corporation in EHS after 28 years of service, and then worked as a EHS consultant for over 10 years. Spent two years with Kinder Morgan CO2 Company as the Company EHS Director, employed by WLP Holdings Company as an EHS Manager (Wilson Systems, Westex/WLP Oilfield Services, and WLP Oil Field Services) for over 8 years. Previously, doing EHS consulting for PetroLegacy Energy, LLC from November 2017 to June 11, 2023.
