The studioAkademeia process is client centered and dedicated to balancing the needs of your students, faculty, administrators and staff. The results are always the product of the merger of an array of complex functional requirements and contextual aesthetic considerations. I am fortunate to have gained a wealth of experience working with dedicated and insightful clients. Because of my clients, I have been able to bring this experience to campuses across the country as an award winning architect, a university architect, a university planner, and architectural educator. This experience is manifest in many design awards and exhibitions.​My architectural and planning experience includes Large-Scale Higher Education, Research, and Health Care Campus Master Planning and Facility projects, and Architectural Facility Programming. I have also provided Campus Master Planning, Architectural Facility Programming and Architectural and Interior Design services for multiple Biotech and Pharmaceutical Campuses; Primary and Secondary Education facilities; US Department of Defense Installations; Corporate and Commercial Real Estate Developments; Ecclesiastical Campuses; and a variety of Urban Design projects.For the last four and a half years I have been serving as the University Architect and Director of Planning and Campus Development at the University of New Mexico, and as a lecturer in the Department of Architecture at the University of New Mexico School of Architecture and Planning.I hope you enjoy this overview into my vision for studioAkademeia.
