• I was biking back from Florida to New Jersey, getting ready to look at the coffee shop that was going to open. Every day I would make a point to stop at a coffee shop, whether it be in the morning or the afternoon, looking for the caffeine I needed to keep going on my ride or find the relaxation to unwind and get my mind off the miles I biked that day • • No matter what coffee shop I stopped at, I felt like it was an awesome place to be. A great way to experience the community, the area, or the town I was in •• It didn't matter if I was in South Carolina or North Carolina, wherever I was, I saw those local coffee shops as the beacon of that area •• I asked questions about what was going on in the area or what people did locally so I could really get to know the essence of where I was •• Almost Home got its name because every coffee shop on my journey, no matter where I was, made me feel like I was home •• I was by myself •• The baristas became my family •• The managers became my family •• I would tell them my story and they would tell me theirs •• The idea behind Almost Home is that if you're not from the area if you're not from New Jersey or Monmouth County, or the Jersey Shore, but you were to walk into  Almost Home or any of our coffee shops, you will be treated like family •• Most importantly, we want to be seen as a beacon to our local community. To talk to you about our area, about what we do, and what's around us. From directions to recommendations for places to eat, getting you better connected with the locals or up to speed with where you’re at, or simply someone to share stories with, we want you to feel like you’re Almost Home •
