GLNG incorporates the development of coal seam gas (CSG) resources in QLD’s Surat and Bowen Basins, a 420km gas transmission pipeline, and a 2-Train liquefaction and storage facility on Curtis Island. The upstream component of GLNG includes thousands of CSG wells linked by a vast network of gas and water gathering pipelines to field processing and compressing facilities, and complex water treatment plants. As Senior Assurance Engineer for GLNG Upstream projects, my core role deliverables included:► Developed and implemented project management systems, presided over scope and issue management, ensured best-practice project management methodologies were being used, and ensured good project governance for the portfolio► Delivered Technical Assurance for AU$80M to AU$600M CAPEX projects/developments using the Total Project Technical Review (PTR) assurance process, and defining project management, QA, risk management and governance systems► Santos contract representative for the Independent Project Analysis (IPA) contract (project benchmarking and pacesetting)► Delivered Project Assurance for large onshore CAPEX projects/developments, including GLNG Upstream Phase One► Led or supported Project Gate reviews using the Santos Quality Asset Development (SQAD) process► NB: In addition to leading the RFSU (Ready for Start Up) review for Roma Hub Compressor Station 2, and I also led project assurance (close-out) reviews for the Gladstone Transmission Pipeline and the LNG Plant on Curtis Island (i.e. Midstream).
