I am a motivated, results oriented professional with 11 plus years of surveying experience in the oil and gas, utility, telecommunication, residential and commercial industries.I currently hold the position of Survey Technician at G&W Engineers, Inc. As a Survey Technician I work out in the field independently and as part of a 2 or more man crew, operate a GPS and robotic total station with a data collector to gather the necessary data for boundary, ALTA, wetland, tree, raw land and topographic surveys, construction staking, and setting control. In the office I use Autodesk Land Desktop 2004 to create plats based from property deeds, plats and field survey data. I complete elevation certificates and write property descriptions. I have extensive knowledge of the Trimble R6 through R12 RTK with TSC and robotic and traditional total stations with the TSC 3 through 7 data collectors, Trimble Access and Survey Pro Software, Microsoft Word and Excel. I am able to effectively research deeds on the web and pull them at the Register of Deeds.I work well independently and with conventional 2 or more-man crews both with and without supervision. I actively participate in educating the clients and land owners of the importance of the survey. I strive to accomplish goals and meet objectives in a timely, organized manner without sacrificing the quality of the project. I continuously seek to gain knowledge and growth to strengthen the company and advance my career. I am always mindful of and strictly adhere to the safety practices and procedures and use the equipment and materials assigned to me properly.I have a passion for writing, math, nature, hiking, being out in the open, and traveling. For all these reasons I am passionate about land surveying and chose it to be my career.
