I have the opportunity to work with a staff of over 100 facutly members, 1900 students and a support staff of over 50. Part of my position deals with assisting in curriculum development and guidance of the Fine Arts, Social Studies, Physical Education, and Career and Technical Education departments. The physical plant that is Troy Athens High School is something that I work with everyday, whether there is a problem with the custodial, heating/cooling, or any technology issue, or any issue with a 35 year old building I am given the opportunity to find the solution. I also have the opportunity to interact with two of grade levels of students, the freshmen and the senior class, I deal with student's issues both personnal and school related and find a solution that works for all parties. One becomes an active listener, an advocate, the person who makes the student responsible for his/her actions, and the students who are unable to help themselves you help.

Raging Rhinos is a summer travel - tournament team designed to improve and expand the skill and experience of high school age lacrosse players.In 2012 Rhinos lacrosse added an elite travel team for the recruitment of college level high school players. The Rhinos have been invited to attend four of the most competitive and highly recruited tournaments.

taught M/S History for eight years and U/S History for six years. Head lacrosse coach from 1991 - 1996, won two state championships and one Mid - West Championship. Coached varsity football from 1985 till 1996 won two state championships and competed in the State Playoffs ten of eleven years.
