I support the Senior Consultants in their everyday task. I have an integral part in most projects that come through our office. More specifically, I am responsible for training new analysts, managing the data collection and analysis, drafting reports we send to our clients, providing the Senior Consultants with the key findings, and modelling client specific problems and solutions (i.e., Change-in-Control scenarios, Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution, etc.)

As an Analyst, I was often responsible for multiple projects at one time. For a normal data study, I collected compensation information from multiple sources including surveys, public documents, and client provided materials. I then analyzed this data using statistical techniques and presented the information to the Senior Consultants. After updating the Senior Consultants, I would draft and edit the reports we would send to our clients.For specialized projects, I would create models in Excel that would help us solve unique problems. Some of these projects consisted Change-in-Control scenarios, projecting future share usage and the impact on a company's burn rate, and comparing a company's defined benefit and defined contribution plans to market. Unlike a normal data study, these projects did not have templates and involved creative problem solving and unique solutions.In my spare time, I took it upon myself to became familiar with many of the tax codes and regulations surrounding executive compensation as well as the stock exchange listing rules.
