Responsible for sales enablement for the global Hilti sales team of approx 10,000. This includes improving existing process and tools such as CRM and mobile Solutions. Highlights include implementing CRM Systems in India, Brazil, Mexico, Korea and Taiwan. Working closely with the Hilti market organisations around the world and other corporate departments - The aim is to create engaged and enthusiastic customers that grow sales and profit faster than growing cost of servicing them.

North East England

In this role I manage a team of 8 direct reports and have profit and loss responsibility for the team. My primary goals are to develop the people and achieve outstanding results. In 2011 the team achieved 114% of target with over 20% growth in sales and over proportional profit growth. The team achieved all of the targets set and one team member achieved a promotion.

The purpose of this role was to achieve the sustainable profitable growth of the portfolio of customers in the steel construction trade in the North East of England and Scotland. I led of team of seven direct reports. Key responsibilities were; P&L accountability, people development, sales coaching and achievement of results.

In this role I had account management responsibility for a portfolio of four large accounts for Hilti. The accounts were Sir Robert McAlpine, Vinci plc, Willmott Dixon and Hochtief. My key responsibilities were relationship management, sales growth, pricing control, introduction of new products and services and co-ordination of internal resources to fulfill the customer needs.

My first role at Hilti was to analyse a segment of customers in the construction industry and develop a long-term strategy to satisfy these customers. The strategy included construction industry analysis, competitor understanding, organisation structure design, value proposition design and implementation planning. I also carried out product and application training plus customer awareness courses for current sales people to provide immediate improvements in our offering to these customers.
