Robert Eberhart is an educational expert in leading transformational change at both the private and public school levels. He brings over 38 years of experience at the class, school, district, private and public school levels. Working for EVSC, Robert has led school turnaround as the Principal at Lodge Community School during their transition from a K-5 to K-8 school. Robert completed his 9th year as principal at Lodge Community School, which is a high poverty school in an urban community. Through his leadership, he moved Lodge, 2016, out of a failing status on Indiana’s School Accountability Ratings. Lodge Community School will soon complete their second year of training with Learning Sciences International to become a Demonstration School for Rigor.Through Robert's leadership, Lodge Community School developed and implemented high-quality plans targeting systems alignment and focusing on closing the achievement gap. Robert brings vast experience in a turnaround setting including systems development and alignment, leadership coaching, curriculum, instruction, assessment, and data analysis with systematic planning. Robert’s work is focused on data-informed decision making within a structure of distributive leadership at the district, school and classroom levels, thus resulting in students, authentically engaged as autonomous learners. Through his leadership, learning now occurs in an environment where students-centered rigorous tasks illustrate student mastery of learning within high-functioning peer teams.
