A Vice Chairman with Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, Inc. (C&W), Bob Edge possesses more than 48 years of real estate experience, 39 years with Cushman & Wakefield. He opened C&W’s Dallas office in 1974 and is a past member of C&W’s Board of Directors as well as a previous stockholder.Bob is one of the most active tenant representation brokers in the country and has handled many of the largest real estate transactions in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, including lease negotiations, build-to-suits, dispositions, and acquisition assignments consisting of more than five million square feet. Mr. Edge has handled numerous corporate headquarters relocations including those for American Airlines, Caltex Petroleum, Occidental Chemical, and Celanese Chemical, and represented Mobil Oil Corporation in more than one million square feet of assignments. In 2004, C&W established the Bob Edge Scholarship, which is used to support young commercial real estate brokers seeking SIOR, CCIM, MAI, CPM, and other professional designations. Mr. Edge has also been a mentor to many young C&W brokers entering the business as part of the C&W Mentoring Program.
