In 2012/13, Bob provided engineering expertise to the CareGo team when the Gladstone Steel Terminal at the Port of Liverpool, UK was converted to an automated steel coil storage facility. His latest efforts involve automating a pipe and tube facility for Welded Tube of Canada in Concord, ON.

Bob held the position of Manager, Capital Project for the Carego Group from 2003 to 2007. During that time he was responsible for the design and project management of the award winning Plant 19 and the implementation of a highly successful energy reduction plan for other Carego facilities. Green Age Design was born out of the sustainable concepts generated at Plant 19, Canada’s first LEED gold rated industrial building.

Bob has a 25 years history in marine engineering and transportation at the Port of Hamilton. He held several positions at the Port, successfully project managed several multi-million dollar expansions, managed its extensive property portfolio and rounding out his career as Chief Executive Officer.
