In 2012, I joined the team at MMG Limited as a Mobile Maintenance Superintendent at the LXML Sepon Mine in Laos. Here, I oversaw transition from contract mining to owner mining and maintenance of the mining mobile fleet in order to provide safe and efficient equipment. Here, I oversaw transition from contract mining to owner mining and maintenance of the mining mobile fleet in order to provide safe and efficient equipment. This included oversight for a $16M annual operating budget and management of 178 Lao Supervisors, Foremen, Maintenance Planners, and Tradesmen. While in this tenure, I developed and implemented mobile equipment maintenance strategies to sustain availability and reliability at the lowest practical costs, including partnering with MetroCat for component rebuilds and parts supply.
