Serving as staff attorney for the Superior Court of Carroll County I reported to Hon. Chief Judge John Simpson and other judges, as requested, to assist with research, case analysis, drafting orders and holding jury trials.

I worked under the supervision of federal public defenders to represent indigent clients facing Federal criminal charges in the Northern District of Georgia. I performed research as directed and shadowed my supervisors during client visits at the Robert A. Deyton detention facility; court hearings and trails at the Richard B. Russell Federal Federal building and weekly office wide "think-tank" meetings.

Legal extern practicing under the Georgia Student Practice Rule. I represented clients at bond reduction hearings, first appearances and second chaired two felony jury trials.

I directly assisted the partners of the firm with legal research, deposition prep, conducting depositions, client management, document review and complaint drafting for matters involving § 1983 litigation. As a part of the team I was able to assist in helping those harmed by government actors enforce their Constitutional rights.

Assisted the head brewer with planning of brew schedule with emphasis on maintaining a balanced taplist, hop selection for rotating IPA (JuiceWillis) and hot-side wort production. I was responsible for carrying out regular brewing operations including: hot side wort production, Cleaning in Place (CIP) of fermenters and brite tanks, manual cleaning in house kegs and maintenance of 16+ draft lines.

As a GRA I was responsible for full time research, I was primarily involved with data collection regarding my thesis. This included but was not limited to DNA extractions, genotyping through PCR, gene reporter assays and traveling to zoos across the United States to collect behavioral data on chimpanzees and bonobos.

Lecturing in greater depth on topics covered in lecture section associated with the lab. Responsible for overseeing student lab work, collecting and grading weekly lab reports along with writing, administering and grading exams.

I assisted in solidifying skills learned by students during their normal lectures in Friday sessions where I was responsible for monitoring progress and assisting in the completion of assignments.
