PLAYERTEK is a professional-grade sensor device and web based software that measures physical performance during football. It includes an advanced GPS (Global Positioning System) designed for football (Soccer, Rugby, GAA) and a range of smart sensors.The system helps players to improve their football training, their strength and conditioning and their performance. PLAYERTEK can be used by all Soccer, Rugby, Field Hockey and GAA players and is ideal for aspiring players from the age of 13 onwards.PLAYERTEK is the world’s first football GPS system designed specifically for consumers (everyone –rather than just professionals). It is very accurate and extremely easy to use. The system includes smart sensors and sophisticated algorithms designed to work for football players at all levels. Beginners can benefit from simple advice while advanced players or sports scientists can dive into the details.

I am currently lecturing on the following courses :Pearson BTEC Level 2 First Extended Certificate in SportPearson BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport and Exercise Sciences Pearson BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in SportWhich involves writing, delivering and evaluating lessons, marking and completing internal and external verification of student work, as well as acting as a personal tutor for all 1st year Sport Science Students.

MAJOR DUTIES: 1. Co-ordinate the delivery of a new 3 year Rugby Strategy which will include Queen’s Academy as one of its elements in partnershipwith the Queen’s Rugby Clubs, IRFU, Ulster Branch and Queen’s Sport. Work as part of the Queen’s Sport team to promote theRugby Academy in line with the Queen’s Sport Strategy.2. Assist with corporate fundraising opportunities for Queen’s Rugby establishing strong links with alumni and external partners toincrease levels of sponsorship and donations to the Jack Kyle Foundation.3. Assist with developing links with local schools and clubs to promote rugby at Queen’s and links with Queen’s Recruitment toidentify prospective students.4. Co-ordinate the Queen’s Rugby Jack Kyle Scholarship administration process and assist with the effective delivery of services to the athletes.5. Encourage and promote the involvement and development of student volunteers through the establishment of a volunteer plan –develop and strengthen the Queen’s Rugby Club Structures in partnership with Ulster Branch Development Staff to identifydevelopment opportunities for volunteers including coaching, refereeing etc.6. Service a new Rugby Management Group involving IRFU, Ulster Branch, Queen’s Rugby Clubs and Queen’s Sport providingprogress reports relating to agreed monthly, quarterly and annual work programming schedules.7. Ensure the implementation of effective monitoring and evaluation systems for work programmes.8 Liaise with relevant staff and student officers to agree facility availability and access for the delivery of all sessions.9. To maintain current knowledge of Governing Body and other relevant agencies programmes, policies, guidance and advice.10. To organise the delivery of Rugby events to include student led, alumni re-unions and Queen’s Sport initiatives.11. Represent Queen’s Sport and relevant events and conferences.
