I am a Director of Fraser's Retail as well as a passionate ROTARIAN and ECD sponsor. We have five Budgens-Bp State-of-the-Art Forecourt Convenience Businesses. We lease a further site in Lower Earley. The family Business started in the 1950's, my Brother Hugh and I are 2nd Generation and two of our sons, Nick (Now Joint Managing Director) and Jonathan (Director) are now fully involved. Over the years we have won many awards, including the Forecourt Trader (3 times), Independent Retailer Awards, Convenience Store of the Year as well as Forecourt of the year. Our Three Mile Cross Store is in the final for Convenience Store of the Year 2020. I spend a period of my year in Cape Town and am a very passionate Rotarian (Helderberg Sunrise Rotary Club) , where I now spend much of my energy and focus into "Making a Difference" in peoples lives. I am very active in Rotary and in particular Early Childhood Education, my wife, Liz and I support and sponsor two ECD centres. Brak en Jan Raithby (www.brakenjan.org.za) and Siyabulela Creche and Pre-Primary in Kleinmond. Both in South Africa. We have been involved in Brak en Jan since 2009 and we are very proud on how far they have come since then with over 100 children attending before Covid-19. It is a difficult time and we can do with all the support and love that we can get in these difficult times.
