CurrentOver thirteen years experience in the town planning department of one of the West Midlands' leading property consultancies.This was preceded by seven years experience in four different Local Planning Authorities.Town planning specialisims include;Preparation, submission and management of large and complex planning applications across most property sectors including residential (700 homes plus), office, industrial, warehousing, institutional (2 x prisons of 1600 and 2200 places) and leisure (redevelopment of golf course).Promotion of strategic land opportunites through emerging development plans, including appearances at EiP and experience of legal challenge in the High Court and Court of Appeal.Provision of strategic and specific town planning advice to a wide range of colleagues and clients including house builders / promoters, commercial developers, occupiers, Local Planning Authorities, Government departments, banks and financial institutions.Preparation of reports and appraisals to assess the development potential of specific sites and strageic land.Preparation of estates strategies for large scale industrial operators with presence throughout the UK.Expert witness work, including the preparation of evidence and appearance at Public Inquiry and Informal Hearings.Management and development of a team of town planners.
