Bob Gebhardt is an experienced trial lawyer who has taken more than 100 cases to either jury or non-jury verdict. He is a fellow of the prestigious American College of Trial Lawyers and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates. During his legal career of over 40 years, Bob’s particular emphasis has been commercial and product liability litigation. His trial experience includes cases involving trademark infringement, breach of contract, fraud, legal malpractice defense, corporate director and officer defense, and credit unions. His experience in product liability defense includes representation of a broad spectrum of product providers, including aircraft and helicopters, guns, medical devices, lighters, jacks, winders, scissor lifts, and food products. He has served as national counsel in litigation involving aircraft design, a medical device, disposable lighters, and credit unions.Starting January, 2015, Bob served as General Counsel for Smilables, Inc., a startup company situated in Berkeley, California. His duties included litigation management, corporate governance, Human Resources Management, negotiation of manufacturing and licensing agreements, and the provision of advice and counsel as matters regularly arose.Bob was also Senior Trial Counsel for Cholakian & Associates, an insurance defense litigation firm.
