An approved Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) developer, Mr. Geringer is highly experienced in the acquisition, development and financing of large scale multifamily residential, commercial, retail and industrial real estate. He has extensive knowledge of the US debt capital markets and has secured numerous financings from commercial banks, Government Agencies including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, HUD, foreign life insurance companies, pension funds and institutional debt providers of senior and mezzanine loan instruments. In a career spanning 30 years, Mr. Geringer has successfully acquired, financed and managed real estate projects as principal and as sponsor/asset manager in California, Oregon, Colorado, Tennessee, Utah, Arizona, Mississippi, New Mexico, and Texas.He is the CEO and Founder of Geringer Capital, a privately owned real estate company and asset manager based in Los Angeles. Geringer Capital is the sponsor of the Domus US Multifamily series of funds which currently have assets under management exceeding $500M. Geringer Capital's overall portfolio currently exceeds $950M with further acquisitions targeted for 2021. Mr. Geringer received his B.A. in Economics from UCLA in 1981, and his J.D. from Southwestern University in 1985. He holds an LLM in Taxation from New York University. Mr. Geringer has been a California Real Estate Broker since 1987 and a licensed attorney practicing in California since 1986.
