Robert Goodspeed has more than 11 years experience in commercial construction inspection and project management. His current position is as the Lead Construction Inspector for The Waller County Road & Bridge Department. Conducting all phases of inspection and county management of public and private road projects throughout the county. Responsible for Inspections including sub-grade stabilization, sub-grade proof rolls, sub-grade density and gradation testing, installation of SWPPP, inspection of re-bar installation, concrete pours, project substantial completion inspections, project final acceptance inspections, re-inspection of rejected work, monitoring all concrete slump, air entrainment testing and cylinder samples and reviewing results of same for County acceptance. Additional responsibilities include documention of and correspondence with developers, contractors and County officials in reguards to ongoing projects in an effort to facilitate smooth and continued operations. Additional County responsibilities issuance of Code Compliance Notifications and investigation of drainage concerns and code compliance throughout the county, authoring the Waller County Concrete Road Acceptance Guide and County Engineering website. Robert is a highly self motivated individual and requires little supervision once a clear path has been defined and takes pride in his efforts and work ethic.Having owned and operated a real estate inspection company for over 28 years full time as a Professional Real Estate Inspector in the Houston metropolitan area from 1996 to 2022.
