Bob Green is a partner at Green & Barton with offices in Houston, Texas and Denver, Colorado. The firm’s practice is focused primarily on first party insurance.Bob spent the first ten years of practice representing insurance companies in various first party coverage disputes and personal injury claims from 1978 to 1988. He served as coverage counsel for Hartford, Travelers, Cigna, Victoria Lloyds, and Stonewall Insurance Company. Prior clients also include Ford Motor Company, American Motor Company, John Deer, Rockwell International, and Marlin Firearms. Since 1988, he has represented individuals and corporations against insurance companies in bad faith litigation, coverage disputes, and personal injury claims. Bob has tried over fifty jury trials to conclusion, including several first party insurance cases. He had the record Plaintiff’s insurance verdict for the year 2013, along with his partner, Dan Barton. Bob has argued over fifteen cases to the Texas Supreme Court, Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and various state appellate courts including multiple cases involving insurance coverage.Bob earned his B.A. with Honors from the University of Texas in 1975. In 1978, he earned his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law with Honors, Order of the Coif.
