You never know which road life will take you.I had always dreamed of being an electrician and one day take over the family business. I believed that one day I would find myself at the helm and reaching success. After high school, I pursued this dream by apprenticing for another electrician and at the same time attending Crowder College to acquire my degree in construction management. While attending Crowder College, I received several awards through SkillsUSA. I achieved championships at the state & national levels in competition through that organization as well as receiving several awards from companies in the field. A few years after leaving college I took over as the ops manager for the family business. Even after finding some success in the electrical field I kind of just felt a bit empty. I wanted to learn more and learn something different. That's when it happened; I took a part-time job working as an overnight security guard ironically stationed at my alma mater. Coupling my enthusiasm in the field with my drive for continuing education I was soon able to obtain the position of site supervisor. Since then, I haven't been able to get enough. This endeavor incorporated my passion for customer service and a desire to help others. I am now the Permanent Services Ops Manager for a multi-state private security & investigations company where I oversee the uniformed offices stationed at various sites. I also have become a licensed private investigator, site security auditor, & instructor for self-defense, soft skills, and firearms. My specialties include quickly learning new skills & adopting new technologies, problem-solving, responsive customer service, developing new employees, project management, & professionalism incorporating respect with every encounter.I am also working to learn new skills by taking further education. This includes a firearms technology degree from Sonoran Desert Institute. Coupled with certifications for Sig Sauer and Glock firearms will assist me to develop the skills needed to be an armorer. I retain electrical certifications for Briggs & Stratton home generator cert. & lighting & motor controls. I also have experience with OSHA training including hazardous waste ops.In the security field, I have obtained a security certificates through Arkansas as well as multiple courses in the laws of California. I have also obtained my Private Investigator's license through the State of Missouri. I also plans to further my business education as well as seeking out further self-defense & firearms courses.
