My responsibilities as Technology Operations Specialist with the Retirement Systems of Alabama are as follows,• Ensuring all in house users are fully functioning and operational. This includes maintaining all hardware, software and applications used. We have hundreds of in house users alone. On top of our Mobile, Alabama location, we have many more users spread throughout the downtown Montgomery area that must be upheld and maintained.• Outside of our employees, we maintain all employers throughout the State of Alabama who contribute to the Retirement Systems of Alabama. I ensure that they properly contribute and run our Contributions Reporting Application correctly. This includes running off databases for the employers and configuring our application correctly for employers to accurately report their employee's monthly retirement contribution.• I manage all upgrades and box-builds that are put out for our users. I am also responsible for our OS conversion from Windows 7 to Windows 10 LTSB.• Responsibilities include,- Box Build's - I have created a workflow that includes all software packages pre-imaged based on each division within the RSA.- Run databases for employers who contribute to the RSA.- Active directory maintenance.- Hardware repair, upgrades & configuration. (RAM, power supplies, SATA, NVMe and M.2 SSD's)- Software repair, installation and configuration.- Maintaining and servicing issues via our ticketing system manager.

I was responsible for the golf section of the store. This would include sales, as well as having the knowledge on how to make repairs. Daily tasks included anything from golf club grip replacement to the adjusting and or replacement of club head’s and shafts. Additionally, we received shipments that required reconciliation from the delivery to the shipping ticket. Computer use was a daily activity for corresponding through e-mails, scanning documents into the case files, and printing documents or letters required for physical filing requirements.
