I clean and maintain the Pauline Central Primary School to high standards and provide a safe working condition for the staff. I work as a team member on a team that is dedicated to setting high standards and doing our best to achieve them standards. I work on annual custodial budget and help provide training, ordering new equipment and chemicals. Some of my other duties are to provide grounds keeping, do minor maintenance, set-up for different programs, and security of the building. I work with my staff in a manner that ensures professional quality of work is performed in an efficient and effective manner. I have completed my OSHA 40 hour Safety Specialist course of which I hope to use in the near future. I have also just completed the New York’s Green Cleaning Program.

Supervise 12 Custodial Associates in evening clean-up of the library, perform minor building maintenance, work on performance evaluations on personnel, approve/disapprove vacation/sick leave, and maintain supplies. I worked within a yearly budget for the custodial department while purchasing new equipment, train custodial staff to work as team members on several projects, provide after hour building security, and performed other supervisory duties. I develop and implement departmental goals that meet organizational visions by providing strategic planning, setting priorities, and provide staff mentoring. With the help of staff I set –up for sporting events or for staff meetings, and supervised two evening custodians.
