Leadership responsibilities for the Corporate Special Investigation Unit (CSIU) and overall fraud prevention program.The CSIU is primarily responsible for creating, overseeing, executing, and managing American Modern’s fraud prevention program. This includes investigating external matters with red flag indicators of fraud (primarily involving policyholders/claimants stemming from claim and policy transactions), executing automated and state-of-the-art fraud monitoring tools, and performing investigations of internal matters. This team is part of the Legal Department and supports the 2nd-Line of Defense for the organization.
