Mission: To protect and safeguard the premises, property and personnel of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, the Board of Governors, and operations conducted by or on behalf of the Federal Reserve Bank. The Law Enforcement Unit (LEU) partners with the Business Continuity Office (BCO) to ensure the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago is prepared to effectively respond to a broad range of emergencies while protecting the safety of employees and seamlessly performing critical Federal Reserve functions.

Lansing, Michigan

Manager and administrator of the Recruiting and Selection Section staff and statewide recruiting resources. Development of the Michigan State Police’s recruiting activities and marketing strategies. Ensures Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) for all applicants. Ensures compliance with the Michigan Commission on Law Enforcement Standards (MCOLES) selection and hiring rules & regulations. Develops and maintains recruiting partnerships with community, educational, and private sector organizations to assist us in diversifying our agency. Compiles and maintains statistical data and reports on demographics of applicant pool.

Detroit, Pontiac And Inkster

Managed, coordinated and deployed Michigan State Police directed patrols based on Data Driven Approaches to Crime and Traffic Safety (DDACTS) and utilize real-time intelligence based policing tactics to identify and target violent criminal hot-spots within the Cities of Detroit, Pontiac and Inkster. Additionally, I was the MSP Commander of Belle Isle Park in the City of Detroit, which is now Michigan's 102nd State Park.

Michigan Gaming Control Board - Detroit, Mi

Supervised the Michigan State Police (MSP) personnel at the three Detroit Casinos enforcing the laws of the State of Michigan and the Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) Act. Protecting the Casino's assets from theft from the general public and embezzlement from employees within. I planned and organized training sessions for newly assigned Gaming personnel to include table games and training on counterfeit currency and travelers checks. I also included MGCB, AG, and casino staff personnel when applicable. I served as the MSP representative to work directly with the MGCB on the development of an MOU between the agencies.

Metro North Post - Oak Park

Supervised two work site (including Groveland Post #27) 7 sergeants, 4 detective sergeants, 51 troopers, 6 motor carrier officers and 5 civilians. Managed day-to-day administrative operations. Ensured the delivery of State Police services to the public. Coordinated special details, motorcades and projects. Conducted internal investigations. Attended community relations meetings. Acted as post commander in the absence of the First Lieutenant.

Detroit Post

Supervised two sergeants and sixteen troopers. Managed day-to-day administrative operations. Ensured the delivery of State Police services to the public. Coordinated special details, motorcades and projects. Conducted internal investigations. Attended community relations meetings. Acted as post commander in the absence of the First Lieutenant.

Detroit Post #29

Supervised two trooper Investigators, conducted criminal investigations and follow-up for other posts and law enforcement agencies outside of the City of Detroit. Reviewed, processed and tracked post forfeiture incidents, reviewed trooper's complaints to ensure proper and timely investigations as well as mentoring and coaching of troopers. Primary investigative team for the City of Highland Park when their city was without their own police department.

Metro North Post #21 - Oak Park, Michigan

Patrolled and responded to calls for service in the Oakland and Macomb County areas. Field Training Officer for probationary troopers from two recruit schools assigned to the post. Assisted the post detectives with investigations, interviews, witness contacts and arrest. Prepared investigations for prosecutor’s office and court.

Northville Post

Patrolled and responded to calls for service in the Wayne & Oakland County areas. Responded to criminal incidents at the Northville Psychiatric Hospital.

Detroit Post #29

Patrolled and responded to calls for service within the City of Detroit. Conducted background investigations on trooper applicants for employment with the Michigan State Police.

Wayland Post

Successfully completed the probationary trooper program, conducted general patrol and responded to calls for service in the counties of Kent, Allegan, and Barry.

Lansing, Michigan

Successfully completed the eighteen-week training and educational requirements of the 105th Trooper Recruit School to become a Michigan State Police Trooper.
