The integration included a complete transition of A/P and A/R in order to conform with standard AOL policies and practices. Currently working with Userplane to ensure compliance with AOL ad revenue and sales policies. Improved Legal Accrual process and reconciled Legal accrual balance which lead to a 50% ($8.7MM) reduction in the balance of the accrued liability account. Served as "test case" for Corporate Accounting's implementation of new company-wide accrual process. The accrual process was modified to ensure SOX compliance. The modifications included more detail of the accrual balance, increased documentation, and various sign-offs. Responsible for researching Interlink's, a recently acquired company, invoices and arranging for service cancellations or transfers as needed for those offices.Perform General Ledger Account Reconciliation. Responsible for general ledger to fixed asset account reconciliation, as well as various payroll and benefit accounts.Record and complete inter-company transactions and reports. The twelve divisions in Sterling Software receive receipts and make payments for other divisions. These balances are reconciled monthly with Corporate and between the divisions themselves

Responsible for creation of daily invoices using SBT Accounting software. Ensure prices are correct; add or delete line items from invoices as needed. Prepare daily revenue report for directors. As A/P responsible for coding invoices and travel expense reports in order to allocate expenses back to individual accounts. Enter Fixes Assets into SBT system and make appropriate journal entries.

Performed daily accounting for the Director of Finance. All income and expenses, including travel, in the Law School are accounted by the financial assistant before they are moved to Accounts Payable.
