As part of the Centre for Cancer Precent and Support team, work with internal and external stakeholders to implement innovative cancer prevention and survivorship programs both within CCS and externally with partners in the cancer system to improve health outcomes for Canadians.

As a leader of the organization, engage with community partners, guide the vision, align strategic plan, and engage with board functions to ensure quality services and supports are provided to the community.Develop and implement marketing campaigns to increase donors, visibility and opportunities for the organization. Design, implement, plan and coordinate community services programs including the Therapy Dog Program, Volunteer Medical Responder Program, SJA Connect Youth Leadership program.Develop new and innovative programs that help improve the quality of life of those in our communities while engaging with community partners.Research volunteer trends to develop strategies for recruitment, retention and engagement.Lead and support staff to help develop community service programs and St. John Ambulance marketing needs.Work closely will business development team on marketing initiatives including social media development and innovative business development initiatives. Working along side a recreation therapist designing patient specific plans that improve quality of life. Facilitating group programs and one to one interventions for individuals in a long term care facility who have some degree of dementia. Provided leisure and wellness experiences on site and in the community to ensure patients goals were being met. Work with the interdisciplinary team to redirect challenging behaviors.
