Bob Hull has extensive leadership experience in energy and utilities. He was a Managing Director with British energy regulator Ofgem, and held Director roles with FTSE 20 international utility National Grid, and global consultancy KPMG. He has over 30 years of UK and international experience and has led numerous investment and growth campaigns in new energy, telecoms and utility businesses. He is a Chartered Engineer and MBA graduate. He founded Riverswan Energy Advisory in 2017 to advise energy and utility clients worldwide and also holds a number of Non-Executive roles, including: - Independent member of Ofgem's RIIO-2 Challenge Group 2018-23; also an independent member of Ofgem's System Operator Performance Panel - Director at energy storage developer Intelligent Land Investments plc since 2017- Formerly independent member of UK Dept for International Trade Audit Committee (2011-17)At Ofgem, his achievements included leading policy design and transactions for c£8bn of infrastructure tenders, smart metering and clean energy policy implementation, and setting revenues for £multi-billion regulated companies. In the private sector, he led investments in energy, utility and telecoms businesses for National Grid across six continents. For KPMG, he led strategic analysis and advisory engagements for many power and utility clients. At Riverswan, he is providing strategy, regulatory, commercial, and investment advice to energy and utility sector clients in the UK and worldwide. UK clients include new and existing industry participants across generation, networks, retail, storage/flexibility services and industry reforms. International clients are based in Europe, India, China, Japan and Africa.
