The range of trading businesses included interest rates, credit, FX, exotics and emerging markets.Responsibilities included oversight of all middle office activities, technology spend, financial reporting and operational control. prior to leaving for Barclays there was also significant involvement with the Royal Bank of Scotland merger.Before coming to London the previous role occupied was as Chief Operating Officer of the Investment bank businesses across North and South America. During this tenure there, as well as regular business activities, there was a significant focus on working through historical money laundering issues with all the US regulators.
